Fat Transfer Larger furrows, depressed areas, and volume losses (lips and cheeks) are treated with fat injections. It also enhances the effect of cosmetic surgery and is ideal for treating younger faces not yet in need of full surgical correction. The fat is classically collected from the abdomen and immediately prepared for transfer to the face. Over-correction is necessary in order to compensate for the reabsorption which naturally occurs following injection. |
